No passes needed if you want a map of ocotillo wells stop by the ranger station they have em outside the office in a coffee tin, on the gas depends on how much you drive your truck there is a gas station but be prepared to pay more then usual. i will take a gas can cuz you never know

I probably shouldn't go, have a lot of work to do on my truck. Sorry Eddie there will be more trips to be had and definitely a lot of shock tuning to be done in the near future.

Yeah its legal if we shoot on the South side of the railroad tracks, but I know of a bunch of super spots back in the clayhills closeby where I go all the time, you shooting into a hillside anyway..its all good, bring guns!

No permits required, and bring your gas!

Gas station is CLOSED, I dont think Blu Inn will have gas any longer, so bring your gas!!!! or you will be driving all the way to Borrego!

Not cool, the truck can wait.....dont be scared

Your obligation is in Ocotillo Wells, OMG, you better come out, we are racing my Jeep agains your Taco (only in tight quarters though), lol.
Bummer, hope you decide to make it..

Man everyone is working on their truck. Mine was down most of winter last year. No bueno. I'm going to hold off on truck mods til summer and just collect all my parts right now.

Still need to try leaning my dirtbike over to get my clutch to release. I'll try that in the morning. I love old bikes that sit til next desert trip, lol.

Lean it over tonight and let it soak..its best to let is set that way for a few hours to saturate the clutch fibers..pick it back up in the morning and it should work within about 2 or 3 minutes of riding it around.

Thanks the bike is leaning over now! Just to make sure, also associated with the sticking clutch, the lever that stick out the case doesn't fully return either? It makes it look like a spring inside doesn't make it return. I could take a pic if it sounds confusing.

So when you let the clutch lever loose it wont spring back to the return position? If so, sounds like the clutch needs to come apart if thats the case, if you dont do the work on your own bikes let me know and I can fix it, I can do it pretty cheap, I know bikes really well and I can figure out pretty quick.

PM me if you want and I will be back home Tomorrow evening and I will give you my number and gimme a call and we can figure it out before the trip and you will have a running dirtbike then I will have somebody to ride with, I dont think anyone else has a bike besides me and my wife, and you possibly..
