I'm assuming 4 low and just putt out there but do you think ill have to air down? and how have any of you done if you have pulled trailers on the sand?

What do you guys think of this Cummins? Kind of sucks it's 2WD but it would be a hell of a tow rig for my 4Runner (if I ever get the money to start building it) and I could tow my hunting boat with much more confidence. (Although I am a little afraid of dealing with a slick boat ramp with no juice coming through the front tires...)

Don't do it. I've had a few "bigger" trucks and they are completely worth less in 2 wheel drive. The wheels are so far apart and the front is so heavy that you'll just spin the rear tires if you're not on a dry surface. Even with an LSD in the rear it's still a worthless truck on anything but dry surfaces.

Yeah I posted it on Alligator Performance's facebook page asking what they thought. The guy who handles their page sent me a message asking if I was looking to trade my STi and he had a 2003 Cummins with 150K. Stock except for an airdog fuel/air separation system and a tank sump. Automatic, 4X4

Everyone wants to borrow your STI haha. I would get an 04 with a six speed manual. I miss that truck. It didn't have any of the emissions stuff on it and it got 20mpg consistently. 2wd trucks are nice if you strictly tow on payment. If you need to go off road (even a dirt road that's wet) you will get into trouble quickly. The front is so heavy that the rear can't always push it with the wheels being so far back.

I wouldn't be to surprised. The powers that be and the groups supporting them are steps ahead of us with pushing their agenda. I heard you guys had some massive closures up there. Its frigging ridiculous.
