Is there still a meet on the 12th

 

I haven't heard otherwise. I'm planning on being there; never been out in that particular area.

 

Is it out in Rio Puerco?

 

Coyote Canyon run Sunday Feb. 12th

For anybody else interested in coming DOWN to Alamogordo area on this Sunday the 12th we are also having a meet.

okay guys and gals, It looks like we are going to meet at the same gas station as last time. The TEXICO on the corner of white sands blvd/ scenic. SEE MAP

WE ARE GOING TO MEET AT 10am! If you can not make it that early let me know and I can give you more details so you can meet us at the first trail.

After we do Coyote canyon (if we get it done in a reasonable amount of time) we can go across the hwy and up into the mtns and hit a trail there which will take us to high rolls and back towards the meeting point/ gas station so you el paso guys will be a little closer to home.

Pre-runners are welcome to come, most of the obstacles are optional (if you get stuck it will give us a good excuse to use some recovery gear )

Yeah, my understanding is that it's a run out to Snoopy Rock & that area. We're meeting at the dune at the end of Southern at 10am. I believe that Whitecloud is organizing this one.

I will not, repeat not be bringing bacon this time.

 

This is true. I will be putting on the one up here. And good to hear that there will not be not bringing of bacon.

So how far is peurco from the buffalo thunder resort in sf? That's where we will be staying I think when we finally come up.

 

Idk for sure yet. Next wheeling trip I hope.

 

Buffalo thunder is not awesome. Just stay at Sandia. Way nicer and 20 min from puerco.

 

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I just need to see how much I can get a room. I need to get a players club card from there. Last time I stayed at buffalo I won 300 and had my room comp'd. plus I get cheap rooms there, that's the only reason I was thinking that place. But that's too far away. I was thinking we were going to wheel in sf.

Today is my Friday; I have off of work until next Tuesday. I'm really looking forward to seeing my daughter & grandson!

It was pretty cold this morning, yesterday too. I tend to get about 4 years out of a battery; I'll have to replace mine next winter probably.
