Great. I cant stand that huge oem floppy antenna. The one on my old Prelude was built into the rear window and looked light a heater line. So clean looking without it.
Odometer info is saved in the gauges, you only lose your "trip". You dont have to replace the whole cluster, the clear plastic cover comes off and can be swapped for a new one.

I just bought the same CB as you, How do you have it mounted in the ash tray slot?

I have mine stuck in there now, but w/ some double sided tape as a temporary thing until I can figure out how to mount it in there better.

This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!
Nice - just did this to my truck first week of January - turned out pretty well! You're gonna like not having the chrome!

Are the ashtrays different on the 01-04 tacomas? I did a little trimmming and screwed the mounting bracket to some plastic above the ashtray location. Works really well, I should've taken a pic before I reinstalled it. Maybe I should remove it again just to get a pic.

Apparently that little bolt washer for the oil drain bolt is pretty important, I now have leakage. :pout: :frusty::smack::facepalm:BUT I know where I left it. I thought that I may be able to get away with not having to drain and refill it to put the washer back on but I am going to have to do so.

Its a Toyota what more is there to say.....
    TRD S/C 3" sky jacker suspension lift,33" kumho road venture mt kl71's 16" 320c pacer wheels,billet grill,EBC slotted and dimpled rotors,super 44 muffler with gutted cat,smoked l.e.d. tail lights, deck plate mod with K&N filter,fog/blinker mod,cobra cb with 4' firestick antenna/100W PA,clear corners with l.e.d bulbs,55w back up lights,urd O2 sim., blue l.e.d bulbs behind gauge cluster.
Ill try to get pics for you but i used the screws that came with it and i drilled two holes in the top of the cb and two holes in the top of the ashtrays location and cut out the back of the ashtray hole. If that makes any sense.

    Look at build!
Not today but saturday night got put some 33" boggers on a tracker and attempted to make it to the "creek".

but unfortunatly making it to the creek put it out of reach to be pulled out leading to this
    [IMG]

and as you can tell htis shit was just slop and was up to the bottom of my bumper so i was basically sitting on my skid plate just spinning tires...thing is that i made it about this far before pulling out the tracker the first time but it sucked me in this time.

This isnt the worst of the night though, the worst is what cam while trying to pull me out :(:(:(:(

Broke the welds to my bumper and it came off...wasnt to bad though cause i had been wanting to pull it off and move it in a bit more anyway to mount my skid to the cross member that the bumper bolts to.

And when the bumper came off it crushed in my front quarter panel under my headlight and caused my passenger door to not open anymore...

Overall i was stuck for 5 hours trying to pull me out with 3 different trucks, about an hours worth of digging under the skid and in the end ended up getting a back hoe down there and had to attatch the strap to my slider which held up great and came out in no time....Lets just say it was a pretty shitty night but fun at the same time.

the worst part is im the one of the crowd that freaking hates mud and doesnt ever mess with it and the only reason i was in it was to get this guy out cause the little ranger that was there got stuck trying to pull out the tracker the first time so then i gottem out and we concluded the Toyota is superior to Ford :D
