    Is there anyone out there who sales a smooth intake elbow, as opposed to our accordion style one? I want to get a better sound out of the truck, and I heard that the accordion dampers the sound. Thanks.

    the cold air intakes do that purpose for you? or are you looking for like a cheap straight tube? in which case you'll need to drill in a spot for the MAF sensor.

    I don't think their is a manufacture for that specific part. I took mine off the other day, just the elbow part. Wasn't a whole lot louder. But, at autozone, they sell the right parts to make it yourself. Just go by the performance parts and you'll see a bunch of intake shit. My cousin built his own intake for the 1st gen, and his came out ok.
