i have gaps in my rear leafs after the AAL well only only toward then ends

 

thats cause your forcing your springs upwards, same with me. Im forcing mine upwards with the blocks. The natural arch of the springs become compromised.

Speaking of lifts, I was thinking guys.... I want to get a drop bracket lift and keep my blocks. Seems like the better way to go. Im going to be able to save WAY more money. Also thinking leaving the BL on too so i can fit some 35's

 

are you serious?? how are you going to save money with a DB lift???? 3" BL and a 6" DB??

 

yeah ill have +9" of lift baby! Also thinking about putting the spacers on top of the coils for an extra 2" and an AAL over my block to level it out. Should be pretty sick

 

i think you should do it man and put wheels where the mirrors are so you can keep rolling when you flop it!

Thanks! i might have found a family friend that has a welder, just need to see if he is good enough to weld sliders.

ben you have the 4x sliders right? those are the ones i am getting.

i contributed my fair share of bs during my breaks. i got a couple hours of downtime during the day (not counting classes)

 

the kickouts cost the same as standard...and i like kickouts, so hell ya im getting them. how did you go about making sure they were mounted at the same angle and they were uniform. honestly i could probably weld em my self. but i dont actually own a welder and its better to play it safe and have someone who is pretty good do it

Ben, Noise in digital cameras is caused by a high ISO speed setting. I'm assuming that camera can be set to whatever ISO you want. What was it set to?

It looked like a bright sunny day, which means you could probably handhold steady enough at 1/60 of a second for the shutter speed. On a sunny day, if your ISO speed is any higher than 200, its too high.

When set for aperture priority you are essentially letting the camera decide the shutter speed so you can then decide how much depth of field you need. F16 is good if you want the foreground and the mountains in the distance to be razor sharp. F4 is good if you want the face in the portrait to be what is sharp.

For truck porn, a medium F stop is best for a couple of reasons. One is, most lenses are at their best at F8 or F9 and give you a wide enough depth of field at that middle F stop. Other reason is, you can use a lower ISO speed setting (on a sunny day) which means less noise.

Try an ISO of 100 and an aperture of F8. If the shutter speed is high enough for hand-holding the camera, you will get your best photos. Raise the ISO only enough to get a shutter speed high enough to hand hold at your aperture setting of choice.
