YES!!! This is exactly what I was hoping for. Where did you get parts and what exactly do I need to do this? It looks like the mirror out of my subaru.

Banzai......was the mirror a difficult install? Or is it pretty much plug and go - i.e., the wiring is already there and you just plug it in?

It was pretty easy. Do you have the dimming mirror already and the overhead display? If you do you can just use wire taps to wire in the mirror to the wires from your dimming mirror then get your constant power from your map lights.

The mirror setup looks sweet! Would be nice of Toyota to put those in the truck from the factory. My RX-8 had one and I loved it.

No, I don't have the dimming mirror but was thinking about getting one....this one looks nicer with Homelink built in which I like. So there are wires under the ceiling liner near the windshield? Does anyone know if there are pics of a dimming mirror install in TW?

Homelink lets you control your garage door and house lights from buttons on the mirror. Look at the pics of the install and you will see them.

easy to put in... did it on my 06... you use IGN power for the autodim (compass / temp power) and battery power for the homelink (map light power) There's a write up at TN me thinks on what color is what...

    easy peasy lemon squeezy...

I have a 2006 4x4 SR5 so I don't have the overhead temp, etc. console. If I get just the Dimmer Mirror, are there wires already there to just link into? Phil
