Not at all, theres a lot of fun stuff to wheel with a stock trd, just clearly not where you tried to go.

I think i'll stick to my caged and locked xj on 35's for snow wheeling. We just need some fresh snow, and believe me i'm anxiously waiting, this winter sucks.

ok. How long have you had it mounted like that? No problems w/ the screws loosening up or starting to pull through the top of the CB?

Your tires could have been a little wider too, and less air in them

if you wanna have fun in the deep stuff you need ground clearance and tires with way deeper voids that what you're running...and if you don't have the money for that yet, a good set of chains will at least help you to go way farther.

    http://www.tirechain.com/VBAR.htm
I like the chains with the v-bars....You'll be unstoppable in these bitches.

Yeah i tend to learn everything the hard way as well...Happens to the best of us.
Last time i was on snow actually was on the Rubicon trail and i slid 10 feet down a hill into a rock ended up with some body damage to my driver headlight and fender.

    IMG_2687_8e973a5feeaa5597fbcfef9798f2e8bdca50ba5c.jpg

Lesson learned; don't wheel through the rubicon at 2am when all the crusty dirty snow has iced over...good times

Unfortunatly im like 99% sure only the dealer has em. If you know someone who works there they can get them for $250ish. I only know that cuz my neighbor cut his off a few days ago. That was the best price my friend who works at toyota could find:mad:

I was able to finish up the LED conversion today with the AC panel... I'm pleased with how it turned out.

I also ordered a customized switch to control my winch. I will go where my factory clock is... it should be here in about 2-3 weeks.

This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!

Right on man! Garages are awesome!

Changed plugs at 120k miles for the first time since I got the truck at 101k miles. It had dealer service paperwork that said they were changed at 93k. Every cylinder looked exactly the same, light cinamon burn. A thing of beauty. :D
