Ok so 2010 TRD 4X4 looking to get a little more height out of her and just talked to the local 4wheelparts and this is what I got:

    1) Run just a spacer in the front end and keep the stock wheels and run a 265/75/16

    2) Run a space and 5100s with stock wheels on 265/17/16

Option one would run me about 500 and option two would be 600ish....

So which option would be better and do you guys have any pix with this setup..

Also looking to replace stock BFG with LT tires instead of P rated with either Bridgestone Dueler or Nitto Terra Grappler.....

    Patiently waiting your opinions...

    Todd

4wheelparts doesnt have a great rep here. What will you be using your truck for? Spacers are pretty frowned apon by most guys here but if it serves your purpose they shouldn't be a problem. I am not running either of the setup but you'll find your answer here soon, someone will chime in. People love the 5100s for a good cheap lift. Cant seem to go wrong with them.

You can run option 2 (265\75-16) without the spacers for around $400 and still get the lift you want. 5100's fronts are lift coil overs.

I'd be using the truck for mild offloading (mainly mountain biking camping etc)

I mentioned not using the spacer to the guy and he said that the 5100 will eventually sag which will cause the ride height to be affected????? Again they are the only shop I saw around (fresno/Visalia area) but I am open to more ideas..I don't want to make the wrong decision here

I have 5100's set to 2.5" on my Tundra for the past two years. I never lifted the rear because I thought they (the springs) would weaken from the pre-load and the front would sag a little. The front of my truck is still 1.5" HIGHER than the rear.........2 years later. I do more than mild off-roading. You'll be more than fine. But you will need something in the rear (AAL) if you wish to go to 2.5" in the front and still have a level truck.

That size will fit a stock suspension.

    Yes.
I also did this set up. If you just want to level it out, this is a good way to go.
