I like the layout, and looks like good hard pack, but dang, it sure looks skinny. What is it 5-6 ft?

yeah they watered it like every hour when i was there. Only time I can really go is during the day. i start work wednesday night and finish saturday night. So i get sunday, monday, and tuesday off.

I was just trying to figure out the track today haha so i was having fun seeing what I could clear. I was actually clearing more than anyone there. A few guys even came to ask me what I was running haha.

I'll also be moving out towards that area pretty soon so I'll probably be there more often. lol

I followed the direction. First time charging/balancing a lipo

Should it be at 7.8? when it is a 7.4?

I'm not familiar with that charger, does it balance, or balance charge? The cells can be balanced (equal) at any voltage. What looks strange to me is the time showing, or, is it still running?

So, was the battery already charged when you selected to balance it. The minute fifty-seven seconds is what I'm wondering about.

It may very well, I'm not sure. In your pic is the charger still running, or has it completed it's cycle?

It is balancing. I thought it was Supposed to balance and charge at the same time. At least that is what the book says

Balancing and charging are essentially the same thing. When you "balance" a lipo, you are charging each individual cell to 4.2v. You can't balance without charging is pretty much what i'm getting at. However, you can charge without balancing.

Acually you can balance with out charging, by using a blinky, it discharges the highest voltage cell/cells to the lowest ones' level in the pack. Doesn't even need to be connected to a charger. These were the first balancing tools, before the chargers had the built in feature. But yeah, for the most part, all newer chargers are charging up the lower voltage cell/cells, instead of discharging the highest ones.

Sorry guys but thanks. Those directions are kind of difficult and miss leading for a noob with lipo

You only have to balance ever 5-10 times you cycle the battery. I balance every five cycles (as I've stated, I'm sure this is way overkill).
