    Depending on KMs, it would be warranty. At least that's what we do with the Tundra ones that are rusted within the 3yr/60,000km

    I thought rust was 5 years unlimited kms... At least thats what it was when I worked a the dealer in 2005-2008.
    But it wasnt for surface rust, only if the part was rusting to the point it was not longer functioning as designed
