What is the reason for these straps? I see them in the LT trucks all the time..

It so you can limit the stroke of the suspension. When the wheels come off the ground you dont want the suspension to slam down and use the shock as the "stop". This way all of the weight goes to the strap instead of the shock, which can eventually damage a shock

Thank you very much. Lots to learn about LT trucks still. Where do people go out and play with these LT trucks a lot? I'd like to go out and just see what these can do to see if its something I might be interested in building later.

Awesome! Yeah keep me posted and I'd love to go and see these things in action. My wife wants to climb up rocks, go slow and flex.

I'm more into things that have a little bit faster pace. Seems like LT is the way to go.

Haven't but based on the trucks that come of there......It's seems pretty easy to justify an opinion on their quality of work.

idk lol, they gave be racer discount though, i can order you some i bet.

    this^:)

we go out to sycamore alot (easier for 2wd guys) but with 4wd you can literally go almost anywhere as long as its not too narrow.
you will be hooked onto the high speed softness:)

I've bought a bunch stuff there and help out during races. Everyone has always been friendly and service is top notch.

I can't wait till the next run so I can check it out. I like hauling ass in quads and figured this would be a lot more fun. I have a 2wd truck so I'm limited. But either way I'd never do a LT build to my 2011 Taco.. I'd buy a first gen and build one of those up. I got my truck to be a daily driver. I've always built up cars and always have had to use the line "I can't make it because I'm in the middle of fixing/breaking {insert part name here}".. it's nice to have a stock truck that I know will be ready to go when I need it too.

I learned to ride bikes with sport bikes. So having control over the bike is what I"m used too. Every dirt bike I get on, I crash and I crash bad. I ended up trying to 'lean' into a corner once, yah that didn't work out well.

Quads are easier to drive. I still tend to flip these a lot as well.. I'm new to this dirt stuff :) At least its more forgiving than tarmac.

Maybe I'll borrow my buddies dirt bike and get some pointers from his son. (his son back flips the damn things). But your the 4th person to tell me get a dirt bike instead of a quad.

I was on a quad for about 5yrs, but found myself constantly wanting to ride by buddies dirt bikes, especially in the dunes. The challenge was a lot more exilerating.

I ditched the quad about 4yrs, and will never go back lol
