So you guys should look into wide-angle mirrors. I put them on my Mazda3 and they're pretty sick. They're anti-glare, heated, wide-angle. Mazda has my car wired for heated mirrors so it was essentially plug and play...in a way...I did have to solder pins onto wires but that was it.

I'll post a pic of the driver's and passenger's side.

Yea, they're kinda dirty here and the camera sucks at focusing but you get the idea. The line gives you a further out view, something like 30% more visibility.

<-----Truck Driver, I have 8 mirrors. 2 West Coast type ones and 6 spot (bug) mirrors. Definitely something I got used to having especially with the two trailers.

I do have spot mirrors on the Taco too. I don't have a neck so it's tough looking over my shoulder.

I got some at Wal~Mart in the RV section that are round but they are angled a bit and you can twist them after you mount them to adjust whether you are looking more inward or out ward. I have them set so that I can see the lane next to me while I am driving and I can also see the stripes in the parking lot so I know that I am parked evenly.

No but thats because I have those half ball mirrors on my mirror. They work great and are not huge and ugly.

I haven't a clue, so will say none.
These are the ones I use on all my vehicles. Once you get used to them they are great.

Yeah, they will fade in the visuals over time, but cheap enough to replace. When one goes bad, I use a knife to gently take it off, soak the residual adhesive with goo gone and it easily comes off with a scraper. Alcohol will clean off the goo be gone stuff before the new one goes on.

I have 3" fisheyes on my driver's side and 4" on my pass side. Got used to them driving ambulances for 10 years. Amazing how much they help, both driving and backing up the truck. Plus I'm never having to arch my body in wierd positions to look over my shouder/around the headrest/over my friend's head/around my dog

Yeah, I know this thread is old.

That was the first thing that I added to my new truck. I can't live without them. You can make the decision to pass so much more quickly with them.
