Ok, like it says. Once I come off the highway and come to a complete stop, I can literally count down....3..2..1 THUNK. Happens everytime! Out Toyota stealership is junk! They can NEVER duplicate the problem. But, even after I took the shop foremen on the test drive, I even counted it down...3..2..1..THUNK! All they did was grease the driveline. Went away for 2 weeks and was right back. Anyone else had this problem?

Is it the delayed downshift to first gear? or is it something else? If it's the transmission, I believe you can get it re-flashed.

I have a manual transmission. And, there is no way it is axle wrap with 17,000 miles and JUST got the TSB spring done.

It sounds like the driveshaft's slip yoke is binding to me. The fix is to grease it, but unfortunately you have take the driveshaft apart to do that. It's not hard, just takes time.

My 2006 Sequoia 4x4 does this often. In our vehicle it is not just a sound but a hard thunking noise accompanied by a shudder felt throughout the pedal and vehicle.

My Taco has never done this.
