Tacoma Moab Meet 2012!!!!

CAN I GET A WOOT WOOT! i think we will do one raffle ticket per truck that shows up. Bob has more info on it. But Olaf told us about an organization called Moabfriendsforwheelin. He recommends we give donations to them as well because they help with keeping trails open to us.
I personally think we need to come together and pitch towards both organizations, Moabfriends and BFE. Hell, if every truck just throws 10$ at each organization. with 50 trucks, thats $500 bux to each.

 

whats the legality about if part of the proceeds from a raffle going to charity if we donate part of the money to charity i/e moabfriendsforwhein or bfe can we SELL raffle tickets of is that a hole nother can of worms

 

btw.... i got parts today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! reverse lights get to go in this week sometime! alot heavier duty than i figured.

 

rather just avoid it man. cant assign a value to the raffle ticket.... plus our money is going to great groups of people. if youve ever been to BFE youll know what im talking about

 

found a tool box for the truck on cl going to pick it up thursday and ordering the rest of the parts for my cb, 4" firestik, coax, and mounting bracket and spring

 

raffle details will be coming down the line...

still need to work out some details with san juan county and what we can and can't do...

but either way we'll be able to have one...just depends on how we run it

and donations can be separate from the raffle...either way donations to these two groups are recommended as they are the reason why we are able to have this event at area BFE and access these amazing trails

have no problum donating to both of bfe and moabfriends just being the greedy bit** that i am and tring to get more than one ticket

 

oh man.... i say everyone gets one ticket. that way more people get give-a-ways.

 

This is turning out to be a well organized event thanks Bob for all the leg work. Im thinking this is going to be a big TW thing for years to come

not a problem...glad to see this things develop as well as it has...Jace has also been doing some good behind the scenes work on this as well...and everyone else on this thread has all helped in one way or another

i definitely hope this can continue on to future events and we can make this an annual event!

with the help of our sponsors and the participants, this should be one hell of a throwdown in moab!

thats what im sayin. i heard a rumor the toyota club from CO, forget what they are called..... go to MOab every year. but they limit the # of trucks that can go. i plan on beatin their number

 

just an fyi... im still waiting on replies from like 15 companies about our meet. most are at KOH this week

 

btw if anyone has an idea of a company youd like to see sponser PM me.

 

if this keeps gettin bigger and bigger, i think a commitee may be in order to make this happen. EJS has a commitee

 

I wouldn't be surprise if that happened, i think it will if it become an annual event.
