    Well I learn something every day. Guess driving backwards for 1/2 day and using the e-brake was just for fun after all :D Wonder if his e-brake works?


    Front one :eek: I just thought the wheel smacked the panel back. I didn't know it dented it in.

    I can grab a cup and bring it the next time we meet up - just remind me.

    Pretty sure it only adjusts when you set the e-brake. So if your e-brake is completely out of whack, like mine was, the rear brakes don't adjust, like mine didn't.

    The adjustment arm is attached to the front shoe, when the shoe moves, the lever moves.

    but it has a tab that locks it from adjusting :confused:


    all I do know for sure is if he's good to go after 134k and mine are toast after 70k one of our trucks is screwed up :D

    Always had the understanding, that in reverse and brakes are applied, is when rear brakes auto adjust. Nothing to do with e brake being applied. If they adjusted during every braking, they would get too tight.
