i like #3 also only think would be when battery gets low it wont work as well. i don’t put much other than wallet when on long drives.

Mine is in the tray at #3. Just sitting in there. Doesn't go anywhere or make noise.

i had it siting there as well but it moves going around turns or pot holes and stuff. i can’t stand it moving around at all! i don’t like much of anything to be loos in side the cab that i keep in the cab 99% of the time. my C/C is like full of random shit like gum a knife, extra contacts, and other stuff. i have $5 in quoters in a little bag thats for my sun glasses because i can’t stand it moving around. very OCD on that stuff.

 

x2....had a rattle in the backseat somewhere for about a month until I found the problem...lol drove me nuts (especially on cali roads)

I put mine under the steering wheel on the column, well not the steering column, but the plastics frame under where the adj bar is.
That way easily accessible, but not visible
