Hey Mike, how big is that bass that your boy is holding? It is either HUGE or your boy is small?

Andy's bass was 8lbs, 12oz. He is mounted on the wall in his room. We were coming home from school one day when Andy said, "Daddy, can I go fishing?" So I tied a Zoom Super Fluke on his pole and sent him across the street to the neighborhood pond. He came back about 5 minutes later with this big bass. He caught it on his first cast and was down there all by himself. Pretty cool.

    Nice Turkeys....

I've never hunted and don't care to. But....if there'd be one thing I could HUNT & EAT - is Turkeys.

How do ya get into something like that anyway? Is it an icy cold weather sport? or can you do that year round?

As you can tell from my avatar, turkey hunting is my passion in life(after my family). My favorite part about it is that it happens in the spring when the wods are alive. In Ga, our season is roughly Mar, Apr, and May. I've hunted a lot of things and in my part of the country, there is not another animal that comes close to the challenge that a wild turkey gives a hunter. You have to call the tom to you by sounding like a lonely hen. It is very interactive and very exciting. You shoot them with a shotgun, so they have to get pretty close. Oh, I could go on forever.........
Just so you know, I love it soo much that I hunt turkeys at least 6 days a week(sometimes 7) for about 10 weeks. It's very addictive.

Dunno if these will come through as our internet is not the best. But I'll give it a whirl anyway. The first is of a daily catch on lake Texoma several years ago, and the second is of a black bear I took a couple years ago.
