:threadjacked:<<<hey, where did these dudes come from............:D

Anyway, back on topic, another one of my favs:

    Phillipians 4:6-7
6.Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7.And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. NIV

    no particular favorite...

but I love the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.

and Paul is awesome. what faith. His letters are special.

A verse that recently moved me:

    Isaiah 40:31

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
    (KJV)

politics are not allowed, as it becomes too controversial and divides. religion is semi allowed as I have seen...until it becomes controversial.

this thread is neither. it is favorite bible verses. period.

it will go down hill and become locked when...and if, it becomes controvercial. usually because of trolling.

not saying that that you are trolling.

As a serving member, I really enjoy the following verses.

    Ephesians 6:11-17
Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

    Matthew 5:8-9
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
