What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Me too. Only had her 2 weeks and have filled her up 5 times. I really like driving her. 1500 miles already.

Pulled my driver's side eBay foglight to seal the edges with silicone since it was completely filled with water.

You get what you pay for.

Yeah .. We dont get THAT much snow in PA, but they handled flawlessly when we go some snow here. Didn't even have to switch to 4X4.

 

That's what I'm hoping for, don't wanna have to be in 4x4, to save on gas

 

If i do this mod without blacking the lights out......can I fix the ugly orange reflectors inside the housing? I thought about buying the ebay headlights that are all clear but if I can "bake" mine without fuckin it up and removing the 2 colored areas it would be $108 cheaper??

Or are those two areas of the headlight colored plastic that can't be removed?

 

they come out just there are a couple jury running without them

 

took apart my a/c control panel, broke two tabs that held something important (still have three left), had a look at what I was dealing with and then ... yeah ... put i all back together since I didn't have what I needed to do what I wanted

 

I clear modded mine forever ago. It was pretty easy. The hardest part was gettin them bitches apart. Make sure you seal them up really good. Overdo it with the silicone. Caution: The lights will be hot when you pull them out of the oven. Wear gloves.

 

Got my weather tec floor liners in the mail and installed them today. Also ordering the lift and sliders for it.

 

ended up finding some left over plasti-dip in the garage. painted the a/c control panel (the part you can remove, not where the dials are). waiting to it to dry so I can reinstall.

I realized the TRD center caps I had in the garage would fit right on my TRD Sport rims, without any mods. Installed them and they look good,alot better than on the shelf. I also installed Sylvania Ultras, and adjusted my headlights so we can now see the road. After installing the 5100's on 2.5 " they were shooting a little high, easy to do when you have the tutorial on TW.

 

Installed the iPod interface I got from 07SPEEDWAY & the K&N filter I got from Spetimius13. Thanks guys!

Re-wired my stock 7-pin plug in preparation for my new bumper and ordered a breather plug and fuel union for the rear dif breather relocation.
