    I let the dude w/ the $250 pos jeep do the winching... esp after the guy said the burban was over 7000lb. Hooked up to the rear of his jeep... winch to a tree. Used engine/winch power to get it out. After some high-lift help of course :cool:


    I was looking at ways to re-enforce mine... but as much as iv pulled I havnt had any issues yet. Snatch block to stump, blocks under all 4 tires and dragged everything thru the dirt. No issues yet. Done lots of pullin too. I was going to make a brace for each side to the hole in the frame under the uca. Drill a hole on the bottom part of the bumper under the winch plate and bolt thru.

    I put a front hitch on. Custom made and have a multi-mount winch setup. Just waiting on the winch to come. I like this setup better because if there is no room to turn around on a trail then i can winch from the front or the rear.

    The pic at the bottom shows it coming out through the lower louvers. I wonder If I can modify the front skid to reuse since it calls for it's removal.
