As an update, I took mine off over the summer and then after getting my new tires I decided to trim a couple inches off and put them back on. My BFG MT's were throwing rocks all down the side of my truck and I got a few decent chips from it. I still hear rocks hitting with the mudflaps trimmed though.

I'd remove my front ones if my paint wasn't scared from the......

I trimmed them up about 6 inches I think, I still don't like them but they're out of my way

Old Man Emu 2.5" lift, brush guard (about to be changed), grey-wire mod, custom bed mounts for 4 jerrycans, custom survival box, maglite mount, KC Dayliters.
I took them off when I lost one of the front ones. Besides that, the places where I like to go tend to have stair-steps and they would promptly break off as soon as the tires went over the edge.

I have all the paint chips on the lower body to prove their worth, but they didn't work for my application.

I like the look/length of the ones on the previous model Tundras. I can't recall what the new Tundras' flaps look like...

Lost track many, many mods ago.
Lift and tires caused me to take off front but the back remain there to respect those who follow and I don't want my paint getting all scratched up with rocks being thrown up from the road.

Had the front left tear all but about one inch while going down the interstate...which meant that it flapped against my door until I could pull off to find out that it wasn't a flat tire. I just ripped it the rest of the way, and took the rest off once I got back home.

I also backed over a curb, which didn't seem that tall. Ripped the left one right off. Called Toyota, also wouldn't cover, at least not yet. Mildly frustrating, not sure if I'll just take all of them off. $130 Canadian for 1 new flap, plus the grommets and clips.
