I'd say March 17 it is. I also think we should plan a backup day as well in case it is raining, though Sunday's really aren't good for me so it would have to be the following Saturday, the 24th, to be at my place.

Its a done deal. 17th it is, 24th if raining. OP changed.

On another note, what tools do you have/don't have, and what do you think everyone should bring?

I have basic enough tools to get most jobs done, but nothing special by any means. Some guys might want to bring some tools that they have for jobs they want to get done, like if we have more than one set of suspension being worked on, we'll definitely need more floor jacks and stands than what I have. Here's a list off the top of my head of some tools I have:

    - 1 small floor jack
    - 2 jack stands
    - Brake caliper tool set
    - Basic wrench/socket set with some larger sockets as well (19mm-24mm)
    - Torque wrench
    - Angle grinder

Some ideas that might be useful if anyone has them:

    - larger(or at least additional) floor jacks/stands
    - Impact wrench
    - Compressor
    - Welder

I have a nice 200 somethin piece socket/ random stuff set, as well as random wiring materials. As well as a huge spool of 16g? wire. So if anyone needs wire, your set. I also have a smaller compressor. Not sure how may gallons.

I don't have much in the way of tools. Just your standard and metric sockets, a Dremel, hammers, and a jigsaw. I've got a couple extension cords, too.

I might go online and try and find some jackstands and there's an O'Reilly right around the corner from my house. Maybe I'll pick up a floor jack. I've been wanting to get one anyway. I can bring a radial arm saw too if we think we might need it (seriously can't imagine why)

I might be able to borrow a compressor from a buddy, but don't count on it. I'll also raid the engineering office at Safeco and see what they'll let me borrow. If anyone knows of something, let me know and I can ask if they have it.

Also, if anyone has an extra 265/75/16 tire they'd like to offer, I'm interested. My spare is 245 and god forbid I get a flat...

Thats what size my spare is. Although all my other tires are 265/70/17 lol

    265/75/16 and 265/70/17 = same diameter.

Dart, obviously you want to try and get a matching spare at some point, but until you do I really wouldn't worry about having to drive on your current one in the case of a flat. Unless you're driving 100 miles on it, the minor mismatch really isn't a concern.

What he said^ As long as you aren't going on a long trip, you should be fine. If you drive on it for a long time it will start to possibly cause some damage. I only say that because I have seen it happen on several vehicles haha.

Yeah, but my spare is 245/75/16, compared to 265/75/16 all-around. I think that is a smaller diameter.

Unfortunately, I'm heading to Portland this weekend! I'll cross my fingers...

Right, I was talking about Forster's spare being the same diameter as the rest of his tires, even though they're different size wheels.

I understand your spare is smaller as a 245, compared to the rest being 265. I'm saying the difference between the 245 and the 265 isn't of much concern unless you're driving a very long distance. Between here and Portland, you'll be fine, especially since there are plenty of tire shops between here and there.

I might make it up that way. I'll try to bring my garage with me. I just have a mig welder that is okay for thinner stuff but no bueno for sliders.

I have a grinder, metal chop saw, air compressor, floor jack, jack stands, etc. I will try to grab everything. I can do the 17th of March but I am a no go on the 24th if it ends up on that day.
