So i'm finally getting my own place in the next few months and I can finally get my own dog.

Can you guys give me any recommendations?

It needs to be good with kids, I don't want it to bark at every car that goes passed my house, and something that will be FAIRLY easy to train.

I had a golden retriever/lab mix for 18 years and I loved her. Just want to see if theres anything else you guys would recommend.

Lab retriever mix would be best for you and the kids. You might even check or google Lab or golden retriever rescue and find a dog that is already potty trained and has some obediance. Alot of dogs out there are in need in these times and there is nothing wrong with an older dog...think about it.
