I found a link to this stuff, I have used it several times with alot of success.

    advanceautoparts.com

I would also suggest meetup.com to find some new friends and some inexpensive beach towels to cover your seats until you can buy the ones you really want.

:notsure: I would guess somewhere around 30. I never asked retail. Just pulled them off the shelf. Tomorrow i can find out and the source and part number for you. Then you might be able to source them locally for yourself.

Not being that mean is the reason why people take advantage of you.

And he owes you touch up? Why did you loan him the truck before he came though?

And how did he get things CAKED up on there? How long did he have it?

This is crazy. You should have seen how I handled it when a co worker (ex friend) hit and run my truck.

You can rent rug doctor's (Steam Cleaners) at your local safeway. The safeway near my house has them for rent. I dont think they are very expensive. That could give you access to a steam cleaner.

Something I have used for years to get difficult stains out is a 50/50 mix of common dishwashing liquid detergent (Dawn, Palmolive) and hydrogen peroxide. Soak the stain then dab it out (not scrub) with clean white paper towels. For more oily stains, increase the ratio mix of detergent, possibly warm it up in a microwave. This works for many stains (including red wine), is easy on fabrics and cheap to buy.

Fantastic brand cleaner (without bleach) has been kept close at hand too for cleaning just about anything including carpet, seats and tire lettering.

I haven't had much success with carpet cleaning products but the professionals will probably have access to better stuff. The down side is $$$$$$

Better yet, invite "friend" over for a cleaning session ala boot

I live in Boulder and have access to a steam cleaner.

But I'm hesitant to get caught up in a possible Jerry Springer episode over trying to help a fellow TW member out with cleaning her seats.

    Me?

Well the guy who stained NewTacomaGirl's seat is a deadbeat dad who can't take care of his own shit let alone friends' who are helping him out tremendously. That alone, to me, says he has other issues such as, but not limited to, jealousy issues.

He's a dude, she's a woman. He sees me, a strappingly handsome and rugged dude, helping her out. The "damsel in distress" vibe triggers massive jealousy and rage in him and the next thing I know, as I'm bent over steam cleaning her driver's seat, he enters stage left and tries shanking me in the kidneys.

    Or something like that.
