What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Yeah, it's about time, really looking forward to it. Notice any difference in performance/throttle response/engine braking etc or improvement or loss in mpg's with yours? I'm anticipating that it'll be a little louder though inside the cab at least because the end of the tailipipe is hidden behind the framerail as a posed to it exiting through the very back, stock.

Yeah, I hate all the idling that's done while stuck in traffic... but hey, not bad if it lasted you for over a month!

Anyone else have problems with their interior light?

Yea. Hitting it doesn't work. I'd say that'd probably take of it.

 

You seem to have lots of armor.

 

The only problem I have is when I actually use the switch to turn it to the "on" position.

After doing that and returning it to the "door" position, I have wiggle it a bit in order for it to activate when the door(s) open.

But once it's in the sweet spot, it works flawlessly

got my windows on the driver and passenger doors tinted to match the windows behind it. (its an extra cab). its to dark to take pictures right now. ille try to get some pictures up tomorrow. Hopefully i can remember not to roll the windows down for 2 days. does anyone know which fuse controls the window.

I was told that matching factory tint is hard and won't get a good match.

How did yours come out?

 

i think it was 35. Not positive but i think 35. i just told the guys to match it as best they could. It came out pretty close. its not an exact match but its pretty dam close. ille get some pictures up 2morrow
