i weighed it out and going with a front locker on an IFS just means way more snapped CV i believe until you cant figure out when youll need it

and it personally come down to when im on 35's and if i need a locker i must really be stuck

ill be finishing my payment tonight, shipping was roughly what i expected

Anyone have suggestions on what gears I should get??? I have 6 inch fabtech lift with 35's. 4x4 Double Cab. Please help me, been needing to get some for awhile!

 

with 35s. i would say 4.88s. 4.56s would work as well but i think 4.88s is closer to stock.

brandon texted me and said today was super busy. he has no installs tomorrow morning so he should be able to get in contact with everyone

 

According to the tire size calculator on this site, 4.56 is in the "green" and closest to stock for a 35".... It seems rpm's at freeway speeds with 4.88's is too high....

disclaimer: i know nothing about gears... this info is solely based on the tire size calculator we have in the mods and tutorials section... so I very well may be incorrect.

Honestly it's not that bad. I can usually pull 300 miles to a tank.

 

Im not too familiar with gears but buddy explained it to me this way, with 35" and a 6spd I have more options to split the gears as he put it so a 4.56 would be more suitable over a 4.88 if i was a 5spd auto he would suggest 4.88 for the low end. Thats why I chose 4.56 over 4.88 for a higher gearing.

 

4.88s for more low end torque! Great for the 4 bangers since they don't make much power stock

 

4.88s and 33s FTMFW!
