LED problems

Its real easy. First I wired the LED panel to the conections(neg=PS, pos=DS). Then i coverd the old bulb with duck tape to cut out the light from it(optional). Third is to reinstall the old light. You can do this with you map and dome lights and they will work perfectly like your old ones, ie dimmer or no key.
I hope you get what I'm saying, if it take you more than 5 minutes your doing to much!

 

Also, if you get the dome working it complets the circuit, meaning if the dome light is on the map lights will work. I have leds in my maps but didn't bother with the old lights becuase if I need my map light my keys are in or the dome light will be on from the door.

 

I am getting what your saying but how is it going to work for the map lights the map lights are a 194 type bulb not a festoon like the dome light

This is similar to what I have in all 3 spots(map&dome)
The dome is where I have the panel directly wired along with the old bulb. If your using a festoon bulb for your dome then I dont have a fix for that. (maybe rewiring the ground or adding some resistors)

oh ok i gotcha on that one but my question is how about the map lights cuz those ones arent capable of doing a mod like that there isnt enough room haha

 

I think the answer seems to be get some different bulbs that work like originals did as far as when they come on. All the other mumbo jumbo just seems to be attempts at explaning why junk isn't working. They should work just like the regular bulbs did.

 

You should be able to make it fit.
