Added a new leaf to my 3 pack rear springs

Got fed up with the repair toyota provided and went ahaid and added a new leaf to the pack -- what a difference. 4 leaf spring pack is definitly the way to go. Its similar to what the hilux uses.

That begs the question how could toyota commit such an error? Ive seen so many complaints and after bottoming out so many times i went with the TSB which only marginally fixed the problem.

Ill post some pictures and some observations.

Couple of concerns here;
1) TSB pack is FOUR leaf, not three. That means that the dealer who did the TSB for you RIPPED YOU OFF.
2) add-a-leaf springs are typically short. If you have just a 3-pack and an add-a-leaf, you may observe the remaining original leaves folding backwards beyond the add-a-leaf eventually.
