nothing. it's from installing the spindles and F67's. still had lots of preload on the coils and still had the above frame 9" shackles and F55's

 

still drunk from last night!!!

not. but the F67's were on the garage floor waiting to go on... took that pic w/ the spindles and old leaf set up

 

Yeah, the grabbers are redic..

Got a little experience with sand in at Superstition. & im ready for pismo

 

If thats how red label grabbers work, how do you think my Grabber AT2's will work? haha

So here is last March Pismo meet that went terribly wrong. A short story illustrated with pictures.

Started the trip off good, a little overcast but not too bad. We got to the beach and only had to do a little water crossing to get over to the dunes/ camps. Tide wasn't bad at all.




We set up camp, easy ups, tents, tables and other items. Went out for a little run while the weather was still great. Only time I almost got stuck and had to back down the dune. Sand was pretty soft in this area.



Later day during a higher tide. It started raining and the wind started picking up quite a bit. The water crossing turned into a fairly big crossing and was probably about 2 feet or maybe even a little deeper.



I do not have any more pictures from this day (Friday). The wind gusts were extremely bad and the rain was coming down very hard. It felt like we were in the middle of a hurricane. It was the worst weather conditions I've ever encountered. Our tents and easy-ups all got destroyed. Everything was mangled. We tried positioning the trucks in a way that would block the wind but there was no getting around it. We were forced to pack up in the middle of the night and go to a local motel. We came back early the next morning to encounter this...



Met up with the SoCal guys and girls for a little.



But then were over the sand and headed south to Hemet to spend the rest of the weekend at Jason (stroM-'s) house.



Here is to a better March Pismo meet! Let's all have fun and not break too much!
