I was looking at them, sent a few texts but for some reason could not pull the trigger. I seem to like the fact that Mikes kit is more bolt on and the pure fact that I am a lazy mofo


Oh and I am also getting mikes rear shackle cross member

 

I was a little scared they will sag out quicker just from the stories you hear how fast deavers sag anyway. oh well we'll see how they hold up

 

Talked to Mike and he said that he decided to sell the kit with an additional leaf already added to the pack to account for the sag! He talked to deaver and told them what was up

 

Awww you bastard lol. Did you see my edit about the smoothies? I think that is a good choice. Smoothies with bumps will be my set up too

also looked at the Kings on DSMS website and you can add a shaft bump on the 3.0's! hmm lol

 

I thought about that and it sounds good but if your getting hyrdo bumps anyway its probably better to take the stress off the shocks and give them enough room to not bottom out

 

thought the same thing, plus i dont really want to add stress to the shocks perches.

well see what happens, i think a 2.5 with RR will cool more than I will be needing

 

Ya I went to visit him and 45 minutes later I realized I was late haha. I was expecting it to be 5 minutes, what do you want type of thing....but he asked to go out and see the truck. Offered many different options, opinions and insight. Discussed different styles, what I wanted incorporated into the cage, what style feel I was looking for and every question that I never knew I would be asked

 

Want to be able to remove the bed if need be so we got that figure out lol

Also thinking of tying in a spare tire carrier along with accessory mounts ie lights, hi-lift and fuel carrier mounts


still nothing solid though lol you know how indecisive I am unfortunately

Patrick texted me and said he was all over that, posted up in the tread and all!

Hope you guys make out well as far as price and quality in that! I got the Allpro skids when they were on sale....still have to reinstall those but honestly they held up well for what I put them through (which wasnt much but good enough for me)

 

I'll actually be able to go mid travel now that I landed this job need to start researching

 

Yeah, my stock Off-Road one has held up surprisingly well. But after having it off the truck recently...I really want something less tin foil like. Haha.

 

I know its a 4 cyl but are 500# gonna be enough for a 2nd gen?

 

Thats what Scott and Jerry recommended for my 4 cylinder with the Burg 4" spindles

 

Look at the engage Trucks for example. They are taller than my truck!
