Front Cup Holder

Anyone find a travel cup big enough to fit nicely/snugly in those humongous front cup holders with the useless little size adjusters on them?

 

Hmm.. I have a narrow travel mug and mine seems to hold it pretty stable.

 

I am referring to the two side-by-side holders right under the HVAC controls. They are worthless as anything I put in them just flops around....the smaller one right in front of the armrest is fine. The little flaps that move in-and-out to adjust to different cup sizes cannot hold any weight.....they are really a stupid design, almost like the designers just added it out of haste so the box the cupholders are in could be used for other things if you take the black spacer out.

 

Yeah.. I will agree there has been better designs. you even shifted the whole thing to one side?

 

Yes. If you shift the center divider it makes the holes too small. Not even sure a coke can will fit with that configuration. I did try putting cans and stuff in koozies which helped a lot. What I am looking for is some type of travel mug that is fatter that will fit without a koozie.

 

have you looked at Target.. last time i was there they as a crap load of different kinds.

 

I use a "Bubba Keg". Narrow at the bottom to fit in the holder but it still holds 32oz. However, my Tacoma is a manual so I don't know about the auto's.

The other day I bought a 40oz Miller Lite and it fit perfectly
