Rear end sits higher than the front

I just got my tacoma a few months back and i am trying to find the best way to lower the rear end. When i bought the truck it came with a 3 inch Bilstein lift in the front and the back shocks are also Bilstein. I don't think its a body lift in the rear because it doesn't have any spacers between the leaf spring and axel. I already had a leaf spring removed and the back is still higher, any ideas?

 

How many leafs are there in the rear, including the overload leaf?

A couple of clarifications for you : Body lift = numerous blocks/grometts that mount between body & frame, & no you dont have any lift blocks on axle either, from looking at the springs, they're either after market or they've been worked some & you have no overload, you can drop another leaf & it'll put you back to a 3 leaf config. that'll lower some, see a fair amount of rust too, might want to hit it with a wire wheel on a cordless drill & wipe it down good, dry if wet & get a can of GOOD enamel like the rust-oleum epoxy enamel it takes a while to dry but well worth it if you live in a wet climate..

It looks to me like your springs no longer have any arch. That means they have either been overloaded, or are worn out. They should have a smile, not a neutral look(like you have), nor should they frown.

The rear of your truck should be higher than the front. A 1" or less rake is normal. Without it, anytime you load it, the rear sags.

Wow, y'all like flat springs? You can keep em. I like ones that work correctly!

 

Automotive springs, tie rods etc. are excellent steel for blacksmithing metal projects, making tools.

Also, looks like you removed the overload leaf spring.

 

X2 from that angle it looks like you should raise the rear, not lower it.

So what does the front look like? Are they adjustable? You might want to raise the front insted of lowering the rear.
