I'm looking to change out my 2011 TRD Offroad chrome grille with a black color matched one (IE a TRD Sport grille). I asked the dealership about ordering one and they said that they cannot say for sure that a Sport grille will fit my Offroad.

It's the same exact thing right? Just one is chrome and the other is color matched? It seems pretty straightforward to me. Has anyone done this before or knows for sure that they can be swapped out?

I have a colormatched or "sport" on my Off Road. It will fit no worries.

Went to go pick up my new grille today and the idiot parts dept rep ordered a 2012 grille instead. Good thing I checked it before I paid! They are reordering it on Monday.

Yep, and the total was $252 if I recall correctly. It was a black grille for the TRD Sport.

Does anyone know where I can find a how-to page for swapping out grilles? I did a quick search but couldn't find anything. I'm sure I could figure it out myself, but instructions are never a bad idea.

All you do is remove a few tabs on top, take out the 2 screws on top, and pull up.

i just changed my 2012 grille,as they said take those 2 screws out at top, then you take the platic clips out ou the side,if you look at bottom sides of grille there are 2 push clips all you have to do is push down on clip while pushing grille towards you and she is out.
