Heard on the news that they will have "designated areas" to play football and frisbee at. I thought they were all out banning it and i thought it was stupid until I heard about that.

Im all for knowing where it needs to be played at though. I hate going to a beach with my little niece and some punks want to cuss, drink, and not pay attention to the kids and end up running into and hurting them.

Not saying I agree with it, Im more or less saying "I hate stupid people."

you effectively are in an unconstitutional cluster... you can't ban all of the following :
- the "unloaded" open carry
- nor the "loaded" open carry
- nor, by virtue of a highly subjective "may issue" system, concealed carry of handguns
... and still pretend you are honoring the 2nd amendment to the US constitution.. If anything, you kali-folk will now be faced w/ being forced into a "shall issue" concealed carry framework (which kali will oppose fiercly), or face lawsuit after lawsuit, being brought to bear on the basis of the recent Heller and McDonald decisions... but hey, what do i know,... i live in a free state

County Department of Beaches and Harbors. The update means that beach-goers may toss balls and Frisbees with Lifeguards’ permission on beaches in Los Angeles County between Memorial Day and Labor Day. However citations, may be given out to individuals who ignore lifeguards’ orders."

As others said, the beaches are just getting insanely crowded, and people are getting injured and suing. Ditto with the ban on deep hole digging. If you want to blame anyone, blame the lawyers. And overpopulaters like the Duggars who pumped out 19 kids.
