i dont think it would be easier or cheaper to do it that way, i think he could easily sell his ucas and shocks for cash plus stock parts. its not like theres really anything on his truck thats permanant. and hes in socal right now so he will be able to sell his fiberglass so easy

Thanks dude I appreciate you checking it out. I'm gonna browse your build thread after work

I have gave it some thought, but the kit is about $600 bucks. I won't be selling any of the suspension. Just the bumper, tire carrier, the glass, and two sets of tires. That will easily cover the cost of the kit, new fenders, and half of the paint cost. The kit doesn't really lower the truck a whole lot.

I talked to the manufacturer of the kit today, and says he'll send me just the ass end for like $375. The idea has been bouncing around in my head all day. Then I came back to my room and stared at side by side pictures. I think what I will do is keep it as is, but finally make an effort to do the cab mount chop and then lower down the coils to eliminate the bro lean. Bring it back here, paint the glass and tailgate, wire up the lights, and just be happy with an over built mall crawler. Still super charge it, but after the 88 gets SAS'd, re geared/locked, painted, so on and so forth.
