Not to sound like a complete idiot  but if I got the 5125's how would I know what the correct length I need is? And do the 5150's come in various lengths? Hmm..actually what length are you going to be running? I may do the same, I have a 99 and yours is an 01 but that shouldn't make a difference. Thanks man.

All the billy shocks are the same except you can get 5125s i LOTs of different lengths as and 5150s you can get in some different lengths as well plus they have a res.

Best way to know is really to just wait till you have the leafs and everything on. I found this out the hard way. I bought just some regular 8.5'' travel 5150s(good for about 2-2.75'' of lift) but actually ended up with 4.5''. So then i have to order another set of 10.5s. DSM said the 11'' travel 5125s would suit be better...but i wanted the 5150s..:p haha

there is nothing wrong with driving around for a week or so with no shocks. I did it with no problems. So just wait. Take the proper measurements and then call DSM and they will hook you up with the best Billy shock for you.

Thanks Blackdawg.. I'll search for a write up on how to measure in the rear, I know its just flexing and you measure the how far to flex up and down. I just dont know the points to measure from.

Make sure when you measure that the rear shocks are disconnected so there is nothing to limit the flex.

If you have access to a forklift, it is really easy to get measurements.

Hey guys I know this has been brought up thousands of times. But I am currently running the Bilstein on all 4 corners. The front being set to the highest setting. 2" aal in the rear. I am rubbing on the screw in the fender well, and the I'm guessing what is called the pinch weld. If I was to get the Eibach would that solve this you think. I am running 285/75/16. Thanks guys. I am really trying not to beat on my truck and dont know how to weld.

The eibachs will get you more lift, but to fit those tires on any lift you will have to do some trimming.

Is travel lost with Eibachs as when you preload the stock spring? I have 5100s. I can't find this answer anywhere...
