Ok I have a 2010, 4-door, V6, 4x4, without factory locker, with a 6 inch ProComp lift and 35x12.50-18. I just bought the truck and a week later had the lift put on. When I first drove the truck I drove about 330 miles per tank, now with the lift and tires I get on a lucky day 200 miles per tank. I heard that with 4.56 It would bring my truck close to stock MPG and more pick up. I travel a lot of highway miles. I am stationed in Fort Hood and drive to San Antonio about every other weekend (around 300miles) I have been calling shops and a lot of them have told me that my truck is still to new or they can't find those gears for my truck. I just wanted to know if anyone out there has 4.56 on there 2010 Tacoma.

Thanks a lot, Im new to the Tacoma world. But I love it already! Ill have to give him a call and see what I need. Again thanks guys, I knew that there had to be something out there. Do you think 4.56 would be my best choice for driving highway. I know some guys live 4.88 but thats mostly for offloading and around the city. I just want to get my mpg some what close to stock but still have enough to do wheeling on the weekends.

Read thru that Thread there is alot of people asking the same question. I went with 4.56 on 35"s for the higher speeds some people like 4.88s or higher for the lower gearing offroading. There is tons of great info on here! Also try using the search function in the top right of the page you can find alot!

I just put 4:10's in my 4X4 V6 DC last week. The power that you get back is really awesome, BIG difference.

I went with the 4:10's because I am only running 33's and it is my daily driver.

So it is a noticeable difference? I know I won't get back to Stock, but anything is better then what I'm getting now.
