Word is, as can be seen in the pic, he is still trying to play with his bucket. My Mom said the reason its taking a while, is because his nose is burned, and when the bucket hits his nose, it hurts him.

:D He looks great Chris. That nose will heal in time.

Do they have any kind of salve for that burn? If they aren't putting anything on it regularly, I suggest using "Bag Balm". You can buy it at Walgreens, folks use it for really bad chapped hands. See attached pic.

It's an old trick I remember from my childhood growing up, we used it on our bird dogs when they'd get cuts/abrasions. Hadn't thought of it in years until this past fall when Ege (partner's bird dog) cut one of her pads really bad on a hunting trip. Stuff worked wonders to help heal it up.

 Dammit...I teared up when I read this. Sure have come to love this dog! :)

Bear sends his best wishes too. :D :bucket::bucket::bucket::bucket:

Great to see Fred! A envelope from LA should be getting there in the next couple of days if it hadn't already!

    he's getting better though :)
Yeah, He has some stuff the Dr.s gave him for the nose. The burn on his nose was 3rd degree IIRC. Looks tons better than what it was!

    Thank you!!
