I'm thinking the 47x94 it's really just me, the female is moving to hawaii this summer so i really don't need the 55 but for an extra 75 bucks it may not be a bad option. Plus i only have a reg cab so i can only take one person at a time.

 

Jason, I was all set to go with the lil wil but your pic of the fold over may have turned me. That looks stable and out of the way.

 

Yea..i think ill go 55 actually..i think id rather just have the space..but weight is also an issue..so the 47 is tempting..

 

i winder what the weight difference is.

im guessing about 30 pound heavier

i bet the over all weight is around 60lbs for the base model

 

i donno about that light..maybe 70-80..i do know a guy that got the 55'' one and said he needed help putting it up then he down graded to the 47 and could do it himself..even if the 55'' is 110lbs..i don't see lifting it as a problem..but if it is 30lbs difference..that could be worth it i think..

 

for 75 bucks it's worth it. I have a 2 story garage and plenty of storage I could build a hoist to suspend it from the ceiling

 

that would be way cool!

and yea i think I'm just gonna get the 55. I usually try and get ppl to come with me and my bro and i will use the shit outa it

It has worked for me. I'm in and out of garages (work / home) so an antenna up above the cab of my truck would always be hitting stuff.

It's out of the way and I only need to put it up when I plan on using the CB.

-get trucks ready now, - bring extra supplies for just in case, - pick your difficulty, so basic moab stuff correct ? nothing too important that i missed ?
...O i invited a Moab ready 4runner, stock but willing to test the limits 4runner, and two other Tacomas - hope ya dont mind - so needless to say sadly if my truck sells I'm still coming !
