Thats a good possibility. One of the local sites listed out about 7 teams that will be looking for a goalie this offseason and the coyotes were one.

 

Chicago is just a good goalie away from being a serious contender.

 

But are they willing to trade to get the goalie? I don't see them giving up the value to get Thomas.

 

Not many teams are willing to do that any more. Besides, Thomas won't get dealt before summer, if at all. Futhermore, by summer, things will have changed. We will know who has won the cup, and who flopped. Not to mention Thomas is how old? No one is going to give up the farm for an old man. In my honost opinion, I think Schneider has and may prove to fetch greater value than Thomas when their respective times come.

I too would be surprised. It would be a huge mistake to deal him. How do you like the Canucks with Bitz and Duco in the line-up?

 

I think Bitz adds a new dynamic to the Sedin line

from what I remember from preseason, Duco is a punk bitch.

 

Bitz is a great player. There are a lot of fans here that miss him.
