    Good deal man. You should dig those tires. Everyone who has them lives em. You may end up using them on the road.... Better highway miles on those babies.

    Reminds me of when I woke up with 6 inches of snow on top of my sleeping bag while I was on top of a tank. That was in a high desert in CA....

    Wouldn't you want a less vented tent to keep the heat in?

    No, then u sweat, like gortex, let's moisture out, keeps heat in. That's what the "spandex" suts Olympic skiers use are made of.

    Really isn't that bad. Waking up is the hardest part. My buddy was in a 20 deg bag and he was fine. Layers, Layers, Layers and liquor, liquor, liquor

    Military tank?

    Really good fly that protects against wind and elements but vents well. condensation from you breathing will cause icing on the bag and inside of tent without good venting.

    I filled up at 6am today and ran a complete tank (all highway @ 2500rpm) with the snork head turned around for a wonderful average of 14.833 mpg :cool:

    2500 rpm is a little fast with 737's though :D

    :eek::D

    I was joking anyway. I wanted to see the Flyers game...

    until I watched it :(

    You don't even have a bag do you? Passing out drunk under blankets when it could be below freezing = no good for you.

    For us we just might have to dig a hole which is OK cause sand doesn't freeze to hard :D

    We will see as soon as the IRS returns some of my money to me.

    Says the guy in a zero degree bag :D

    Yes...... in 8 years I only slept in a tank 1 night bc my loader was talking when they told us over the radio what we were doing for guard so I made the whole tank stay awake..... too harsh you think????:D
