I might be interested if you were closer. Is the color Magnetic Grey?

However, it would be a good excuse to drive to colorado to go snowboarding. Is there still snow up there in March?

You sir are correct on the color and want to thank you for reminding me what it was! We should have plenty of snow up here in march. If we make a deal now...I would be willing to hold onto it for you until you could come get it.

Let me scratch my brain a little and look at driving times and a few other things. If someone else jumps in, don't hold it for me quite yet.

I'm not positive, but I believe the ext. cab trucks and DC trucks have slightly different body shapes where the top of the cab and the top of the camper shell would be meet (the extend cab is a little more square where as the DC is slightly more rounded). Not sure if that means that the camper from an ext. cab will or will not fit a DB, but most likely the lines may not be the most desirable. It most likely will depend on the design of the individual camper model and is tough to say without a test fit or comments from the collective.
I ran into this issue when looking for a topper for my DCLB and not wanting pay for a new one.

Wow...I will find out for sure tomorrow. You definitely make a good point that makes complete sense but the person that I purchased this from had a x2 cab. He had it sitting on a work bench when I arrived at his house but he did say it was from his truck. Will update ad as soon as I learn the correct info. Thanks!

EDIT: Ok....so I do not sound like an idiot claiming to know information that is incorrect, I just spoke with a representative from a Leer dealer and she stated that there isn't a difference in the shape or curvature of the cab. I will even include the dealership info!

I will pass for now, GLWS. That is just a long way for a cap. If I was close I would jump right on it.

The only reason I was concidered it was because I can almost always find an excuse to go snowboarding. I haven't been to Colorado and want to hit some slopes there. If I could pickup a good cap while I was there (or vice versa), bonus!

It is almost like buying a Demello bumper, it would be worth while to drive out there instead of having it shipped to get to go do some other offroading type stuff. It would be easier to justify driving out there if I can 'save' some money doing it.

    And with that, "Bump"

Now that is an idea that I can get on board with. If I still have it in March and you are up to the trip, let me know.

Thanks for the info Himmie and the bumps from everyone!
