How do I....

Get my dealership to do the rear leaf TSB on my truck? Do they have to? Or should I take in my truck and describe an issue related to the TSB and hope that they change it?

 

Is your truck out of warranty? If so, I would recommend describing issues associated with the TSB. Hopefully they go for it.

but forreal, tell them you're bottoming out, and you're afraid you might lose control while towing/hauling.

 

Tell them it sagged when you had 200lbs of dirt in the bed, or something like that. Mine was that easy, although I offered pictures of my motorcycle in the bed. They didn't care about the pictures and quickly signed me up to have the TSB done.

 

throw a little bit of sand in the bed and take it in and say, i had my bed loaded with around 300 lbs of sand and it was riding really rough on the springs and it hit the bump stops once. problem solved

I just had to ask for the TSB springs. They had them ordered and at the shop within the week.

 

Make sure you bring a copy of the TSB in with you, otherwise you're likely to get the "WTF?" look like they have never heard of it...

 

Even out of warranty? I'd pretty much gave up on this cause my truck was pre-owned and past factory warranty.

The TSB only applies to trucks still under warranty

 

I think it's still under the drivetrane warranty, will that work?
