Yeah, the pinch weld mod will be a huge help.

You may still encounter some rubbing while flexing it offroad, but at least you'll be able to drive it properly and go around corners without hearing scraping. :)

I used a pocket knife for the plastic and then a grinder to cut the metal to hammer it flat.

    ha okay thanks guys...

Anyone use Goodyear Wranglers MT/R on their Tacoma.. I took it for a test drive on the street and it feels so bumpy and shakey. Im used to 265/75's street tires. It also feels like the wheel shakes a little as well.

You might have to air down a bit. Do the chalk test.

and Mark, you don't need a grinder i think, i just used it so it would fold over a bit better and trimmed a little off the bottom as well. And i used a knife cause...what else would you use?? and who cares how bad it looks, i don't see ppl sticking their heads in ppls wheel wells..

Hahahahaha ok so wait, let me get this straight, you had a grinder...to cut down the pinch weld, but you didn't have anything better to cut some fender trim with than a cake knife?

Gotta go with the Cut-Outs. I run 305/70/16s and have never had an issue. Plus, I can see out my windows and whatnot since I don't get a rooster tail down the side of my truck every time it rains, not to mention off-roading.

I had to chop my fenders up a little bit in order to prevent my tires from rubbing offroad. I thought the pinch weld was enough but i learned otherwise when my door wouldnt open:p thats only a full lock and full stuff.
