What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

How long do you expect the paint to last? Did you prep the surface? Now that I think about it, I wonder how long engine or radiator paint would last on the exhaust tip... wonder what the temperature range is.

i do a lot of offroad and gravel driving. i dont expect it to last too long. few months maybe. then ill just spray it again. i didnt prep the surface either, just sprayed canned it. temperature isnt a huge issue on the exhaust tip, its the debris getting kicked up from the tire. and rust. took literally 45 seconds to spray it. thanks!

 

What did you use and how did you go about it? Thinking about doing the same with high heat Rustoleum

 

Added a new knife after breaking an 1 1/2" off my last one beating it through firewood with a hammer!

Ive seen a bunch of flashlights mounted. I got this 100 lumen "Rayovac Indestructible LED 2AA Flashlight" for Christmas and saw another TW post where they mounted it in the console. Finally got it mounted using the clip from an old bike pump! It holds it perfectly. ha ha.

i need a brilliant place/location to mount my maglite and 12" Rambo knife.

 

I just replaced 2 wheel bolts on passenger side, 3 broken on driver side next. going to replace both drive shafts and bearings. started saturday, and thats all i have been able to do so far. every time I start, I need tools I dont have. cant remove hub nut for the life of me so now back to store and find a big breaker bar.

 

I'll have to look that up!

ordered two oem fog light switches off of ebay for $40 shipped to me in canada

 

I just did the fog lights on with parking lights mod very easy and cool

 

Installed DTLTs, relocated horns, figured out I need a muffler that isnt stock and isnt gonna be raspy. Aeroturbine 2525XL is gonna be ordered tomorrow.

 

Got it at Auto zone. Haven't tested the reception yet.
