Best place right now appears to be Tower Hobbies - they have a $25 coupon off a purchase of $199 or more. That brings the total Wraith price down to about $340. Tower also has the EasyPay option - splits your total into three payments. Your first one would be $123 ($9.99 shipping), and your other two would be $113 or so.

You can get a Gens Ace 5000mah 40C LiPo for $33 on HobbyPartz.com, plus a $40-$45 charger and the total will be right around $415-$430.

The kit runs right around $305-$315 from what I've seen - FWIW.

You sure you want to spend that much on a rock crawler? I hate to be "that guy" but they seem kind of boring..

Call me Ricky Bobby, but I wanna go fast.

Wraith is a fun RC too. It is my first and the addiction started.

Next will either be the summit or slash.

    Then the XO-1

If you can you should probably add a tool set to your wraith order. You won't regret it. Normally r/c's will come with the "L" shaped allen wrenches and some plastic wrenches for your wheel nuts and such. It's nice having actual "hex drivers" opposed to the shit that comes with them. You can find a decent tool set for 20-60 bucks. Just depends on how much you wanna spend.

    I'm gonna say traxxas mini-summit just to be different . . .

I don't have any experience with crawlers but it seems like the wraith is a bit more capable than the trail honcho. Bigger tires, more suspension, etc. Also, different costs with each of them. Someone else will chime in that knows more than myself, I'm sure.

I like the scale look on the honcho, if the wraith is that much more better ill just ditch the scale look and look for a wraith.

I got both sitting in my room. I drive the wraith over honcho. Wraith is more capable and more fun.

    :)

Love the scale look of the honcho better though.

Honcho is more for easy trail driving and wraith is pure rock crawler
