    Back to AK Safety Inc in about 3 hours to get the BackRack mounting kit fiasco straightened out. It gets more difficult every day to find reliable folks working in these joints. They ordered the right rack for a Tacoma, but sent the mount kit for a 2009 Dodge 1500...I notice the markings on the box when I picked it up, but the guy at the store said he had queried the supplier and they ensured him all the kits were the same. So yesterday I open it all up...and the kit requires stake bed pockets for mounting to the truck...seen any of those on our Tacos? pfft .... hope I can maintain my cool and resist the urge to strangle somebody in this process!

    Sorry for the vent man! :eek: But I'm a little pissed at these clowns. :mad:

    EDIT: BackRack does make kit for the Tacomas ... I'm pretty sure the problem is with the American supplier in NY. For some reason they distribute through NY.
