I'm a total Newbie when it comes to off road. My truck is bone stock so that could be a stretch.

And I like the idea of riding along, as long as there is room for my wife, she loves anything that has to do with cars/trucks/bikes.

i did sycamore in my fairly stock 4x4 with 265's without getting stuck (thanks to a bit of help from eric) in 2wd for a good portion...i think up to the washes is doable in a prerunner..

i feel like if i could do it you'd have a good shot...i needed 4wd maybe 2-3 times, i just took it really slow most of the way.

I've been out there a pretty far distance....never had a problem. Some of the stuff I might have to get a little run at but i'm sure I could hang for the most part :)

most is, if your not stock and like the skinny pedal.
if i had room you could ride with me:(
in a all stock prerunner not locked i dont recommend it either.

all the entrances are 2wd but thats only the beginning of sycamore.
probably is, i never use 4wd out there unless im climbing some gnar hill.

but im always driving over 40 in the wash in 2wd, when i was stock with my 31s i had to be in 4wd

i dont think you would get stuck in 2wd as long as you dont stop in soft sand. underdogs tires were like 8 inches wide so that was the biggest factor in that. my friends in their stock rangers and stuff make it across widow, but they are pedal to the metal.

i went out with 4 or so prerunners like 2 weeks ago and not a single one got stuck, and we went up to crystal rock!

you can get to upper sycamore in like 20 minutes in a truck, but if you do the big loop you can do it in like 3 hours and see all the cool stuff!
like skinny pedal down?:) and slow rocky areas?
you did a good job when we went, slow and easy is the way to go till you get comfortable!

thats all you need to do!!
