Jon, the main reason for selling is that it's turning radius makes it impossible to back a 20 ft. boat into my carport, (I had enough trouble with my 17 ft boat) the Taco is perfect for the job. It's got the turning radius and enough pulling power. My /76 has a wheel base of 14 ft compared to an access cab with 11 ft. The power train is excellent but the body is showing signs of rust, might last for another 5 - 10 years. I'm asking $7,900.00. I put just over $47,000.00 into it back in 2000. They made some great trucks back in /67, I'd stick with what you've got.

Yeah... Why do you have two usernames?

At least they merged some of your threads together. Haha.

Nice Ford! I was trying to find your listing on Craigslist Vancouver...?
The Access Cab is really all you need for Two people. Ive had an Accesscab and now on my 2nd Double Cab. The Double cab is more room and real seating for passengers.

Also a question. I am so torn between the AC and the DC. Either would be v6 and 4x4 , offroad for sure. Any of you with the AC have small kids/infants. We are expecting , and im just wondering what kind of PITA it would be to load/unload infant and their stuff (ie carseat , diaper bag etc etc.) Would it be better to bite the bullet now and go with the DC instead of having buyers remorse down the road?

Another , if I do/dont opt for the tow package , do aftermarket bumpers come w/wo tow packages , or do they bolt around the factory tow package.

    Thank you.

    Yes.
I personally recommend the DC, the AC does not have much room in the back...even for kids. I went with the DC just because of my dogs.

Aftermarket bumpers, as in plate bumper? I don't believe any of them use the factory hitch, this would lose the whole point of higher clearance. Some have integrated hitches though. I chose the tow package for the engine "upgrades" and to have the adapter there if I ever need it.
